Welcome to Peace and Pines Hideaway perfectly set up to experience a truly relaxing and peaceful vacation. Our place offers so much seclusion, is located directly on the shoreline of the Turtle Flambeau Flowage and is less than a mile from the Springstead landing boat ramp.
This beautiful cabin is built around the north woods with many windows looking out to the lake and a huge firepit area close to the edge of the water. We have a super new 28 foot non-slip powder coated dock with space to park two boats and rubberized bumpers to protect your boat. The dock is protected by an offshore island and remains extra calm even on windy days. Power is available at the dock to charge your trolling motor.
Peace and Pines is the perfect destination for your family vacation year round. We are only a short boat ride from "swimmers island", amazing fishing, and snowmobile trails pass directly in front of our property. We have an attached garage perfect for storing your snowmobiles, vehicle, or other northwoods trail toys.
Our fully furnished kitchen includes utensils, coffee maker, toaster, crock pot, pots, pans and all you may need to cook up a delicious dish for the group! We also provide a dishwasher to make the cleaning process super easy for the evening!
Sleeping arrangements at Peace and Pines Hideaway: two king bedrooms, a queen and twin bed loft and two pullout couches. Comfortably sleep six guests. Two full bathrooms.
Unique Features
This cabin offers a beautiful sand beach area including a private dock. A huge plus is the front door being just feet away from The Famous Turtle Flowage! We offer a 1.5 car attached garage that includes a large upright freezer to store fish. Be sure to make use of the Smart TV with netflix available and if you're wanting to stay up to date with those back home connect to the WiFi for easy access.

The Price County area is home to a variety of natural resources and other recreational opportunities. This place offers a wide range of adventurous activities including kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding rentals, golf, indoor community swimming pool, breathtaking snowmobiling, cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails, mountain bike and Atv trails and beautiful scenery along the walking and hiking trails.
There are hundreds of pristinely groomed snowmobile trails which are known as some of the most scenic and best maintained trails in Wisconsin. We’ve got so many options to choose from, including trails through Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, the Tuscobia State Trail from Park Falls to Rice Lake and the Pine Line Rail Trail from Prentice to Medford. You’ll also want to take a trip to the highest geographical point in Wisconsin – Timm’s Hill, and numerous connecting trails. There is so much quality food that you can find in Price County making this one of the best destinations around!
We also have millions of acres of national, state, and county forests surrounding the area for public hunting, fishing and recreation. Covering more than 1.5 million acres of Wisconsin’s Northwoods is the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest.

Reviews
Everything was as expected, except the fact there were no outside chairs to use on the deck or by the firepit. There was two picnic tables but for older people something with a back rest is needed. Thinking about booking again because it was almost perfect. Next time I'll bring outdoor chairs. Thank you for everything Leland Scott
