The Chalet is one of the most luxurious large-group cabins at Wildman Adventure Resort. Located right on the banks of the Peshtigo River, this five-bedroom rental cabin offers easy access to our Peshtigo River Outpost, as well as deluxe private and resort amenities.
This northern Wisconsin adventure rental features a full modern kitchen on the main floor, as well as a cozy great room and a wood-burning fireplace. The home is equipped with dishes, soaps, and cookware, as well as wireless internet and satellite TV.
Outside, the Chalet enjoys a private lot with a grassy lawn, tall trees, a large deck with a river view, and a fire pit, grill and picnic table reserved for your group. Get the coffee going and cook breakfast around the fire while you prepare for an adventure you won’t forget!
Sleeping arrangements: Three of the private bedrooms at the Chalet have one king-sized bed. The fourth bedroom is furnished with one king and one twin-sized bed. The final bedroom has a 1 twin over full bunk bed and an additional stand-alone full size and twin bed.
**Fitted sheets are provided, but guests will need to bring their own pillows, blankets and towels.
Lodging at the Chalet is reserved for guests taking advantage of our onsite guided adventure offerings. Options include whitewater rafting, a ropes course, kayak and SUP tours, and ziplining. Our outdoor adventure trips can be customized to your group’s experience level. We offer adventure packages for guests five years and up. Come find perfect peace at the Chalet in the winter. Sit right above the flowing Peshtigo River. Hike along the river and marvel at sight of the naturally carved ice shelves. Access the county and statewide snowmobile trail system right from the front door of this cabin. Visit the local trails and slopes for Cross country skiing or downhill skiing. Come back and warm your toes in front of the large flagstone fireplace.
The Chalet is located right on the shoreline at Wildman Adventure Resort's Peshtigo River Outpost. This makes it fast and easy for your group to gear up and get started on a once-in-a-lifetime whitewater rafting experience on one of the Midwest’s premier whitewater rafting rivers!
We offer a huge range of exciting ways to get out and enjoy the outdoors in the beautiful Wisconsin Northwoods. From rafting, kayaking and stand-up paddle boards on the Peshtigo and Menominee Rivers to rock climbing, ziplines, paintball, and ropes courses, this is a great place to bond with friends, family members or coworkers.
We also have low-key onsite activities including volleyball, horse shoes, large-group bonfires, and slide shows featuring your adventure action shots. This area is home to some stunning rock formations, nature trails, and trout fishing, as well as restaurants (and ice cream) in the neighboring towns of Lakewood and Crivitz, WI.

During the summer months this cabin is reserved for guests participating in any of our 9 guided adventures.
Our Chalet requires a two-night minimum stay for weekend nights between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
A deposit of 50 percent of the total price is required to reserve your spot.
For parties booking ahead of time, the full balance is due two weeks prior to your arrival date.
Last-minute reservations are welcome, but peak months sell out fast!
Cancellations made a minimum of 15 days prior to the arrival date can receive a refund less a five percent processing fee. Late cancellations or no-shows are not eligible for reimbursement.
**Since you book directly with Wildman Adventure Resort, these rates are not inflated by third-party booking sites. Owner taxes might not be included. Confirm final rates with owner.
