Apostle Pines is an upscale northern Wisconsin vacation rental overlooking the 10th tee at Bayfield’s scenic Apostle Highlands Golf Course. This two-bedroom cottage for four has a furnished upper-level balcony with a view of both the course and Lake Superior.
Apostle Pines cabin features a central great room with two plus sofas, a reading chair and ottoman, a natural stone hearth with a gas-operated fireplace, and a flat-screen TV. The kitchen opens off the living room and it fully furnished with cookware and modern appliances, as well as a dining area with seating for four. Both of these rooms are connected to the balcony by sliding glass doors, creating nearly a full wall of glass that fills the home with natural light.
Sleeping arrangements: There are two private bedrooms at Apostle Pines, each equipped with a king-sized bed. One of these bedrooms also opens onto the balcony.
Due to its unique location at the edge of the Apostle Highlands Golf Course, this upscale cottage enjoys a quiet, natural setting with trees and a water feature, as well as a view of Lake Superior, without being too far away from restaurants and other attractions. It’s a great rental for golfers, as well as for snowshoers or cross-country skiers during the winter months — the trails go right past the door at Apostle Pines!
Bayfield, WI, is a historic waterfront community on Lake Superior, offering all the water-based sports and recreation you could want — there are equipment rentals, charter fishing guides, sea kayaking workshops, sailing classes, ferry rides, and even day cruises to the Apostle Islands.
Bayfield is also home to some great cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops, including a quaint bookstore and an old-fashioned candy seller. It also hosts seasonal events, such as open-air live concerts in the Lake Superior Big Top Chautauqua canvas tent venue.
Some of our favorite local haunts include the Bayfield Maritime Museum, Eckels Pottery & Fine Art Gallery, Highland Valley Farm, Coco Artisan Breads & Pastries, Bayfield Winery Ltd, and the Madeline Island Ferry Line.
