Welcome to our cozy one-bedroom humble abode! This cottage is nestled away in the quiet town of WInter, WI. During your stay you will have direct access to the Tuscobia trail system for UTV and Snowmobiling. Winter is surrounded by lakes that are great for fishing or recreational uses. If you are into hiking and skiing there are multiple trail systems to enjoy such as the Tuscobia Trails, Flambeau Forest State Forest, Oxbo Pines State Natural Area and the American Birkebeiner Trail. These cottages are great for family trips, a romantic getaway and more! Our cottages sleep anywhere from 1 up to seven people comfortably.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the basic essentials that you may need to cook up those delicious meals, such as a fridge, utensils, coffee maker, stove top, and microwave. We’ve got you covered!
Each bed has fresh linens and multiple pillows to make you feel right at home.
The bathroom area has towels ready to use for showers and is already stocked with two full rolls of toilet paper and two rolls of paper towels.
Winter Night’s Cottage (1) has a front yard with two lawn chairs. This is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee and to watch the sunrise or to sit out at night with a glass of wine and chat with your guests. Each cottage has their own charcoal grill. You may also use the fire pit located in the Southeast corner of the property. The trail to Patti's on 70 is located in the corner of the property as well. Head over there to grab some grub and drinks.
This cottage is located near so many fun attractions, which you and your family or friends can enjoy while staying with us! Our cottage is located on the edge of Winter, a town where you can find friendly restaurants and bars, snowmobiling/UTV trail and more! When you rent one of our cottages you will have direct access to the Tuscobia Trail System, all you need to do is unload and ride!
Check out Tuscobia’s state trail and submerge yourself in nature! You may even get to see all sorts of animals and other wildlife. Furthermore, in the Wintertime , Tuscobia State Trail is the perfect destination to get onto some snowmobiles and go along the scenic trail while riding! Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest is also a wonderful place to visit! They have campsites, boating, small beaches and many trails to explore.
If you are looking for an a great place to unwind and have drinks/food. Patti's on 70 is located right next door with a walking path leading to their parking lot. Don't forget to check out Lakewood Cafe in downtown Winter.
Hayward is another town that is only 30 minutes away from our cottages, where you and your family and friends can enjoy all of the town’s events, shopping boutiques, restaurant/bars and more! You’ll never run out of things to do there! And if you are bringing the kiddos along with you, there is a fun Toy store called “Lake Kids Hayward” that they can enjoy as well!
Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame is a fun Museum that is also a good place to take the kids too!

Check in at 4 pm please. A keyless entry code will be given to you the morning of your check in (text or call). Check out 10 am please. To help us transition to the next guest, please strip sheets off the beds, place towels in a pile on the bathroom floor, wash dirty dishes, empty out the fridge and freezer, dump coffee grounds out of the coffee maker, and clean up trash outside your cottage. No Smoking inside.
