Little Sand Castle is a luxurious vacation home right on the beach - but it’s far from little! This 10-person cottage on Little Sand Lake is spacious, modern and comfortable, with four bedrooms, three full baths, a private waterfront lot and a spectacular view.
A stately log cabin between the trees, Little Sand Castle features a natural wood interior with polished floors and vaulted ceilings. A full wall of windows in the main floor great room fills the living spaces with natural light that highlight the warm golden tones.
The main floor includes a sitting room with a stone fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining room with seating for six and a breakfast bar with four additional stools, all beautifully decorated with custom-build furniture and woodwork.
Bonus features include a lower-level recreation room with a wet bar and two additional TV lounges.
Sleeping arrangements: Four private bedrooms at Little Sand Castle are furnished with one king-sized bed, one queen-sized bed, one full-sized bed and three sets of bunk beds. There is also a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the den.
NOTE: Towels are not provided at this property.
This upscale cabin home enjoys a quiet spot between the trees on eight and a half wooded acres with 350 feet of private shoreline on 78-acre Little Sand Lake. With the neighbors out of earshot - and out of sight - it almost feels like you have the whole body of water to yourself. The lot is level and offers a clear view of the water’s edge so you can keep an eye on kids wading in the shallows. It’s truly a haven for families in need of a getaway.
Little Sand Castle offers direct access to fishing, swimming and sunning on a private, sandy beach on Little Sand Lake. This luxury vacation home is also conveniently located to the downtown area of Hayward, Wisconsin.
Hayward is home to a variety of local shops and restaurants, live music venues, house-made ice cream, scenic golf courses, regional museums and other family-friendly local attractions, like the one-of-a-kind Lumberjack Village.
Visitors can also check out the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame, the farmer’s market, the Sawyer County Fair or the CAMBA trails for hundreds of miles of hiking and biking paths. Equipment can be found in local rental shops such as New Moon Bike & Ski.

Nightly rates at Little Sand Castle $450 per night, with a three-night minimum stay during the off season.
During peak season (Memorial Day through Labor Day), Little Sand Castle rents on a weekly-only basis. Weekly rentals run Friday to Friday.
Sales tax of 5.5 percent will be added to all rental rates, along with a $79.13 booking fee (includes tax).
A refundable damage deposit of half the rent is required on the day of arrival.
