Birch View is 2-story and secluded from other cabins with a great upper deck birds-eye view of the lakefront, beach area and playground! Swimming is very popular at Krull’s Deer Path Resort. Though, we are open year round and Birch View has a big fireplace to keep everyone’s spirits warm.
The true “Northwoods” is a great place to start a family tradition. Since you book directly with us at Krull’s we’d be glad to put on our tour guide hat and tell you about some local favorites in Eagle River, Land O’ Lakes, Phelps, St. Germain and Three Lakes -all just a couple miles away.

Take advantage of our resort amenities explore Lake Buckatabon: Your rental includes a 14’ fishing boat, dock space. Have your own boat? Use the dock space with power outlet and a fish cleaning station. Not really into fishing? Just paddle around our 493 acre Vilas County lake in the free paddle boat, kayaks, or canoe. We have a pontoon boat for rent!
If you need multiple cabins on Lake Buckatabon you’re in luck - our Krull’s Deer Path Resort has 11 completely furnished, clean, comfortable cabins and vacation homes that are open year round.
We have 2 lakes you can fish and explore! Krull’s Deer Path Resort is located near the narrows between Upper and Lower Buckatabon. These 2 lakes offer great fishing for the family or the serious musky hunters. Crappies 9” to 11” are great eaters - and so are the plentiful bluegills. Largemouth Bass and Northern’s are common. Musky tip! Fish into the night tossing Big bucktails ;)
Snowmobile or ATV right from your front door! There are several designated trails that extend from the Deer Path Resort that will satisfy your high-speed, outdoor excitement. Like to hike and bike? Either way, you can explore on foot, or pedal. Skiing our picturesque forests can’t be beat!
Things to remember: Charcoal, paper towels, bath and beach towels, kitchen towels, etc.

Would never even think of going to a different place from the owners to the people you meet during the week there your friends for life it's like there all your family now .
