Welcome to our two-level lakefront family treasure. Our cabin has excellent windows, comfortable decks, two screen porches and countless views of the lake (lots of space to enjoy your favorite food & drink while watching lake activities). Great landscaping leads to a lakefront that is all sand bottom, tapering off gently for great swimming fun. Enjoy the nice grass side yards with tons of furniture for cookouts, outdoor games, and simply enjoying the Great Northwoods.
Authentic Northwoods interior finishes inside. The master bed & bath has washer/dryer and a private deck. Housekeeper is Included.
Cal's Cottage is perfect for large families and reunions. We are one of the very few rentals that includes great watercraft-a 12 person pontoon, motorized fishing boat, 3 kayaks, 2 canoes, 2 paddleboards and one two-person paddleboat. Our lake and waterfront is very special-a large private dock with seating for great relaxing by the lake, crystal clear water all year, a sandy shallow bottom, a waterfront fire pit, and everything you need for swimming and fishing fun. Family room has a cozy fireplace and flat screen TV. 2 fully furnished kitchens (one on each level).
Convenience and seclusion all in one! Tucked away and quiet, Cal's is very close to area grocery stores, drug store, hardware store, restaurants, golf courses, casino and downtown Minocqua's unique shops.

From the moment you first see the lake, you know your in for a special visit. All of our guests have found comfort, relaxation, fellowship and fun at and around Cal's Cottage which is why we have so many repeat and referred guests.
Lake Arrowhead has trophy fishing and is perfect for swimming, canoeing/kayaking, water skiing and boarding. You can even boat across the lake to one of the area's premier pizza parlors. Nearby there are great golf courses, a lumberjack show, ski show, classic ice cream shops, go carts, a wildlife zoo, an infamous flea market, and plenty of trails to enjoy Mother Nature. Minocqua boasts many great boutique shops and independently owned restaurants that are all within minutes of Cal's Cottage.

Relaxing Get Away. We really enjoyed our stay! There were many amenities included that other rentals did not - including full use of a pontoon! We were very comfortable from the start. We have just returned from spending one glorious week up at Cal's Cottage. We traveled with our family of 10...4 Adults and 6 children and couldn't have been more comfortable at the cabin. The place is located perfectly...it's just a short drive into town. We loved awakening every morning to beautiful lake views from any level. The beds were comfy..plenty of seating for everyone in the living areas as well as outside. The kids LOVED their daily activities that included paddleboating, kayaking, fishing, snail hunting, pontooning, and just splashing in the crystal clear lake. The men enjoyed the fishing...and caught many huge bass, northern, etc. The pontoon was a huge plus as we all enjoyed many cruises around the beautiful lake. We have stayed at MANY Northwoods rentals over the years..and this one is truly a gem. Oswego, IL renter

We have owned and operated this property since 1997. It is our only rental property, and is our family vacation getaway as well.
