Start close to home on 57-acre Parker Lake in Adams County. Take a gentle row, enjoy the view from the pier, or bring your fishing gear and check current Wisconsin regulations before casting. Our provided rowboat is seasonal and may not be fitted with a motor. Some days the best catch is a quiet hour by the water.
For a change of pace, head to Wisconsin Dells for a Wisconsin River sightseeing cruise, downtown browsing or a round of mini golf. The area's sandstone scenery gives a boat outing a distinctly Wisconsin backdrop, and the Dells' waterpark attractions can fill a family day when everyone is ready for more splash than shoreline.
Make a day trip toward the Baraboo area for Devil's Lake State Park, choosing a lakeshore walk or a more demanding bluff hike to suit your group. Pack the right shoes and check trail conditions before you go. Back at Chesapeake, put supper on the charcoal grill and save the evening for the firepit. Marshmallows rarely complain about a full schedule.
