Unlike a hotel stay, your group will enjoy space to spread out. Five bathrooms offer a mix of showers and soaking tubs, there’s laundry on site, and high‑speed internet lets you stay connected when needed. The converted 8‑car garage houses a game room with pool, ping pong, foosball and air hockey tables, while outside you’ll find a basketball and pickleball court, private boat launch, dock and 8‑acre grounds to explore. Custom woodwork, exposed beams and large windows create a bright, airy feel, while the dual wings provide privacy for families traveling together. You’re surrounded by eight acres of pines and hardwoods, and every window frames a view of Kildare Lake or the forest canopy.
Fun is built into every corner. The 8‑car garage has been transformed into a sports lounge with pool, ping pong, foosball and air hockey tables, plus a bar for refreshments. A paved area beside the garage is lined for pickleball and basketball, and a private boat launch and dock on Kildare Lake means you can launch your craft without leaving the property. In the evening, marvel at sunsets on the lake or stroll across the road to Lac Vieux Desert; there’s even a boat launch nearby.
Bring your water toys! With a private boat launch and dock you can fish for musky, bass and panfish, paddle kayaks or swim in the clear waters of Kildare Lake. Cast a line at dawn, then come back to the dock for a picnic. On land, challenge your family to a game of pickleball or basketball, unwind in the game room, or roast marshmallows around the fire pit while sharing stories under the stars.
Our cabin is a gateway to Vilas County’s outdoor playground. Hike or bike through Nicolet National Forest and the Sylvania Wilderness Area, both just a short drive away. Day‑trip destinations like Black Oak Lake (20 km), Catfish Lake (41 km), Cranberry Lake (42 km), Bond Falls (52 km) and Little Saint Germain Lake (60 km) offer scenic beauty, beaches and boat launches. In winter, explore miles of snowmobile and cross‑country ski trails or drill a hole for some ice‑fishing.
