I built Bear Paw Lodge as a serene escape for groups of friends and families. Nestled in a quiet wooded corner near Wisconsin Dells, our cabin invites you to start your morning with coffee on the front porch or step out onto the patio to smell food sizzling on the charcoal grill. Spend the day playing cornhole, volleyball, badminton or ladder toss in the yard, or sway in the hammock beneath the pines.
Inside, my open‑concept lodge has everything you need: a cozy living room with a 55‑inch smart HDTV above the electric fireplace, Wi‑Fi and Roku streaming, a fully stocked kitchen with full‑size appliances, and a handcrafted live‑edge dining table where everyone can gather for meals or late‑night board games. Down the hall you’ll find a full bathroom, laundry room and two bedrooms – one with a queen bed and another with a queen plus a twin – all freshly made with pillows and linens.
Head downstairs to a second living room and an exciting game room stocked with golf pong, ping‑pong, foosball and ring toss. A door leads to the spacious backyard and fire pit for evening s’mores under the stars. The lower level also has three more bedrooms – two with queen beds and one with four twins – plus a second full bath. An ottoman in a queen bedroom converts into an extra twin bed, bringing capacity to fourteen guests. With thoughtful touches like Wi‑Fi, Roku, fresh towels and hand soap provided, Bear Paw Lodge is a comfortable home base for your Wisconsin Dells adventure.
What makes Bear Paw Lodge unique is how it blends Northwoods seclusion with modern convenience. Although we’re just minutes from downtown Wisconsin Dells, the lodge sits on a quiet, wooded lot with yard games, a hammock and an inviting fire pit. Our property can host up to fourteen guests comfortably, making it perfect for multiple families or teams traveling for tournaments at JustAGame Fieldhouse or Woodside Sports Complex.
I’ve also outfitted the lodge with the extras you don’t always find in vacation rentals: high‑speed Wi‑Fi, Roku TVs with YouTube TV, a fully equipped kitchen, linens and towels, outdoor seating, a charcoal grill, and a whole suite of yard games. There are exterior cameras and noise monitors for your safety, and I can arrange baby gear like pack‑n‑plays and highchairs upon request. When you book directly with me, you avoid platform fees and get personal recommendations for attractions, restaurants and local services.
Wisconsin Dells is known as the Waterpark Capital of the World, and some of the best slides and lazy rivers are just a few minutes away. Spend the day at Noah’s Ark, Mount Olympus or Wilderness Resort splashing, tubing and racing down water coasters. For drier thrills, catch a show at the Tommy Bartlett Exploratory, ride a roller coaster at Timber Falls, or challenge yourself on a high‑ropes course or zip line.
When you’re ready for some quiet time in nature, head to Mirror Lake State Park or Devil’s Lake State Park for hiking, swimming, paddling and incredible sandstone views. Rent a boat on the Wisconsin River or nearby Lake Delton, or explore smaller lakes like Mirror, Jordan, Castle Rock, Petenwell or Fawn for fishing and boating. Golfers will appreciate the proximity to Wisconsin Dells courses, and winter visitors can ski and snow tube at Cascade Mountain or Christmas Mountain.
Downtown Wisconsin Dells is packed with restaurants, supper clubs, wineries and breweries. You can savor a meal at Ishnala Supper Club on Mirror Lake, sample craft beer at Port Huron Brewing Company or enjoy an old‑fashioned at a local pub. Shop for souvenirs, try a fudge shop, catch a drive‑in movie or head to the Tanger Outlets. Rates vary by season. Off-season (Sept–Apr) Sunday–Thursday from $300–$460 per night and Friday–Saturday from $500–$530. Peak season (May–Aug) Sunday–Thursday from $490–$599 and Friday–Saturday from $530–$699. Holiday and special event periods range from $550–$704 per night. Weekly rates range from about $2,100–$4,928. A cleaning fee of $225 and 10.5% tax will be added. A refundable $500 security deposit is required. A 50% deposit is due at booking with the balance due 30 days before arrival. We have a 2‑night minimum stay. Guests must be 25 or older and we do not allow pets, smoking or parties. Quiet hours are 9 PM–7 AM. Cancellations made more than 60 days before arrival receive a full refund; within 60 days there is no refund.
