Nestled in a quiet wooded hillside near the Wisconsin Dells, our Lazy Elk Lodge offers a peaceful escape for family vacations and group getaways. This modern cabin‑style home features an open‑concept living room with a plush sectional, 55‑inch smart HDTV and an electric fireplace. The adjoining kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dinnerware, a dishwasher, and both drip and single‑serve coffee makers, while a handcrafted live‑edge dining table invites you to enjoy meals together. Windows across the main level fill the space with natural light and provide glimpses of wildlife just beyond the deck.
The lodge comfortably sleeps up to twelve guests across five cozy bedrooms. Two queen bedrooms and a full bath are located on the main level, while downstairs you'll find three more bedrooms – two with queen beds and one with four twin beds – plus a second full bath. With two separate living rooms and a game room, there’s plenty of space for everyone to relax. Our lower‑level family room features a sofa and smart TV for movie nights, while the adjacent game room keeps kids and adults entertained with ping‑pong, foosball, mini golf and board games.
Outside, the private backyard beckons with a charcoal grill, hammock, picnic area and a fire pit perfect for evening marshmallow roasts. The large yard is equipped with a variety of yard games – cornhole, ladder toss, badminton and more – so you can enjoy hours of fun without leaving the property. Whether you’re sipping coffee on the deck, stargazing by the fire or exploring the scenic hills, the Lazy Elk Lodge provides a comfortable, inviting home base for your Wisconsin Dells vacation.
What sets our lodge apart is the sheer variety of entertainment options we’ve packed into one property. From a handmade mini‑golf course and ping‑pong in the game room to foosball, ring toss and golf‑pong, there’s something for everyone. Outside, our yard games collection includes cornhole, ladder toss, badminton and more. After a day of adventures, unwind in the hammock or gather around the fire pit to share stories under the stars.
The lodge is thoughtfully equipped for year‑round comfort. Central heat and air conditioning ensure the perfect temperature in any season, and two smart HDTVs with Roku and YouTube TV streaming keep you connected when you want to kick back indoors. Our fully outfitted kitchen makes cooking a breeze, and conveniences like a washer/dryer, hair dryer and keyless entry add to the feeling of home. With scenic woodland surroundings and easy access to the Dells, our lodge offers the best of both worlds – seclusion and convenience.
Lazy Elk Lodge is located just minutes from the heart of Wisconsin Dells, the Waterpark Capital of the World. Spend the day splashing at Noah’s Ark, Mt. Olympus or one of the many indoor water parks, then return to the quiet of your private retreat. In the warmer months, explore the Wisconsin River’s sandstone cliffs on a Dells boat tour or rent a kayak for a more intimate adventure.
Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate our proximity to Mirror Lake State Park, Devil’s Lake State Park and the scenic Baraboo Hills. These parks offer hiking, biking, rock climbing and swimming amid Wisconsin’s most breathtaking landscapes. In winter the hills become a playground for skiing, snowboarding and tubing at nearby Cascade Mountain and Devil’s Head Resort.
For a slower pace, visit the charming downtown of Wisconsin Dells or nearby Baraboo to browse boutiques, wineries and local restaurants. Off-season (Sept–Apr): $300–$460 per night midweek (Sun–Thu) and $500–$530 per night on weekends (Fri–Sat). Peak season (May–Aug): $490–$599 midweek and $530–$699 on weekends. Holidays & special events: $550–$704 per night. Rates are for up to 12 guests and there is a 2-night minimum. Add 10.5% tax and a $225 cleaning fee per stay. A 50% deposit is due when you book, with the balance and a $500 refundable security deposit due 30 days prior to arrival. Minimum age to rent is 25. No pets, smoking or parties.
