We have grown and can now accommodate up to 10 guests. We even offer two ways to rent!
GO SMALL: Enjoy the same quiet and comfort as before. Well equipped kitchenette; full bath with spa tub, living dining area with a futon and 50" satellite tv; loft bedroom for 3-4 people. This space works well for up to 4 guests.
GO ALL: Need more space? Open a door and add two large bedrooms, a second full bath and open concept kitchen/living/dining area. The kitchen if fully equipped. The open concept space also offers dining for six, sitting space and a flat screen tv with DVD player? Choose one of the provided movies or bring your own! One bedroom sleeps two and the second sleeps four. The full bath has a shower/tub combination. We recommend this choice for five or more guests.
Please note these two spaces may not be rented separately. We offer the choices as described above, but our guests have discovered each serves their needs well depending on the size of their group.
Unique Features
The Green River Guest House offers a large private yard and parking space for up to four vehicles. Many of our guests love the security of on-site owners, but when staying at the guest house they feel completely private because of the exclusive guest house yard and their own parking space. Whether you are looking for a peaceful getaway or an adventurous vacation, the Green River Guest House is for you. Like one vacationer states, we "are perfectly off the beaten path" (Cassondra and Jeremiah, Iowa). Come and see what Southern WI is all about!

The Driftless Region of Wisconsin is known for some of the most scenic areas. Short drives will take you to wonderful eating, wineries, shopping, state parks, historic sites, and a live theater. Come enjoy the great WI outdoors: fishing, biking, and hunting.

Rates vary depending on the size of the party:
1-4: $110 per night for smaller unit.
5-10: $225 per night, with a two night minimum, for the entire guest house. The smaller unit and entire guest house do not rent separately because of architectural restrictions. So you get to choose; Go Small or Go All!

Check-out: 11 A.M. (Late check-out fee: $10.00/hour)
Sorry, no smoking or pets except service dogs allowed.
We gladly accept your check, cash or major credit card. A $50.00 deposit, plus tax, will reserve your stay. The deposit is non-refundable unless you cancel with in seven days of your arrival date. Example: If your arrival date is the 14th, you would need to cancel before the 7th. Refund in the form of a check.
