Inside is a north wood's experience like no other. Stone wood-burning fireplaces and log beams fill the space.
Sleeping arrangement: Master bedroom on the main level has a King size bed and awesome views of the lake. Step out the patio door to a secluded stone patio. Bedroom 2 on the main level has 2 full size beds and a crib. Third bedroom is in the lower level - it has a Queen bed.
The walk-out lower level has a recreation room with a wet bar! Walk down to the 310 acre Deerskin Lake. You hear that? The musky, panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike and walleye are challenging you! Good size crappies make for a fabulous fish fry on the campfire.

Locals Tip: For the best fall foliage, drive down The Heritage Drive Scenic Byway. It’s a history lesson, lined with Native American archaeological sites and military routes from the Civil War. Very nice place. The property was well taken care of and comfortable. II would have preferred a better view of the lake. I went with an assumption and did not ask, so that was my mistake. Phone service for US Cellular is not existent at the rental, we had to drive towards Eagle River to get a connection. Definitely not a deal breaker, just an FYI. A guest from Evansville, WI recommends this vacation rental.

The cabin was clean & had plenty of room for our group of 13. The lake was wonderful & the kids had a great time. The only negative is there is not a yard for the kids to play. Also the air conditioner was not adequate for the size of the house. Marcia K from Auburndale, WI
Musky bay was a great location, close to accommodations but also secluded. The home was clean and the perfect size for our large group of 11. Its an easy walk down to the water and plenty of space for enjoying the fire or water activities. Only negatives were the lake is shallow and quiet, so maybe not ideal location for families looking to be really active on the water. (better for canoeing, kayaking, slow boat rides) Also, the neighboring house is close.
