Things To Do
Like to hike? Just step out the door and into the woods. Hiking trails along the lake provide wonderful views and quiet moments. Winding around town is an extensive system of paved and compacted trails - over 75 miles of scenic shared-use routes and trails.
Head in to downtown Land O' Lakes and visit to the NorthernWaters Museum and the LOLA Center for the Arts. The local waterfalls, museums, mines, and wilderness areas are worth exploring too. Ask us about the Paulding Mystery Light and the Sylvania Wilderness and Recreation Area. There are many interesting attractions that make for enjoyable day trip.
Fishing at Little Portage Lake and other lakes that dot the top of Wisconsin are great. Fish on! Northern Pike, Walleye, Largemouth Bass, and Panfish make for great shore lunch dinners. If you’re patient, a giant Musky might strike!
GREAT for snowmobilers in the winter because Land O' Lakes has amazing snowmobile trails.
