Welcome to this executive caliber log sided vacation home. It contains modern amenities, unique Northwoods decor and breath-taking lake views. The entire home is 2450 square feet and newly built. The elegant Sandy Shore sits alongside Big St. Germain Lake. The main master bedroom is on the main level and has sliding doors that lead to the lake. The master bathroom has a whirlpool tub, a separate shower and a walk in closet. There is an additional bedroom and bathroom on the main level. When you walk up the stairs to the second floor, there are two more bedrooms and a bathroom. The loft upstairs looks over the great room. There are a total of two double beds, three twin beds, two queen beds and one king bed.
Wow! Floor to ceiling windows in the great room overlook the vibrant blue waters of Big St. Germain Lake. When you walk into the great room, you’ll notice a big screen TV, a stone fireplace and 22’ high cathedral ceilings. The dining room and kitchen have a nice flow to the great room - open concept.

Most rooms throughout Sandy Shores offer views of the 1600 acre lake. Did you know that Big St. Germain Lake is actually part of a chain of lakes? Explore Fawn Lake and Lake Content as well. The sandy shoreline and gradual taper provide a safe swimming place for all ages. After a fun day exploring the lake, gather around the lakeside campfire and make memories with your friends and family that will last a lifetime!
Things To Do
Whether you come to visit during the spring, summer, fall or winter, there are plenty of fun activities and things to do in St. Germain. During the fall, there are guided hunting options, fishing, hiking, beautiful fall colors and wine tours. The spring and summer consist of boating, sun bathing, swimming, biking, kayaking, watching live concerts downtown and more! Kids love the Children’s Museum where they offer hands on learning. Take a fun adventure on the Northwoods Zip Line Tour or go horseback riding at the Elmer’s Fun Park and Saddle.
Attention cross country skiing and snowshoeing enthusiasts! There are endless acres of wilderness which makes St. Germain a popular place for cross county skiing and snowshoeing. Here are just a few trails that have great snowshoeing and skiing: Madeline Lake Trail, Shannon Lake Trail, Awassa Trail and the Raven Trail. Trailer up the sleds, put on your helmet and get ready to explore hundreds of miles of meticulously groomed snowmobile trails.
