Experience a luxurious vacation when you stay at Towing Pines. Our vacation rental sits alongside Lost Lake, a beautiful and historic lake. The home is 3,000 square feet and has been newly remodeled. On the main level is a great room with a fireplace and a wall of windows overlooking Lost Lake. Also in the great room is a 47’’ TV. Off the great room is the dining area that seats 6 to 10 people with a lake view. More seating can be found on the other side of the kitchen at the large farm table that can seat 12 to 16 guests. The kitchen has updated appliances and plenty of natural lighting. Guests have access to the 3 car garage to store their vehicles. High speed Wi-Fi throughout the home.
Guest absolutely love the sun-room on the main level. This is a huge hit during the warmer months for family gatherings and card night! The main level also includes a large laundry room and the master bedroom with a walk in closet, variety and bathroom.
The upper level offers three more bedrooms and an alcove with an extra futon for additional sleeping space. The first bedroom on this floor has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a loft bed with a queen on the bottom and a twin bed on the top. The third bedroom upstairs has a set of twin bunk beds with a twin on top and a full size bed at the bottom. The bathroom upstairs features a custom log vanity with vessel sinks and an old fashioned pump style faucet with a bathtub/shower combo.
Unique Features
The Rec Room is another popular place to hang out with your friends and family. The Rec Room in Towering Pines has a huge 70’’ TV, a dart board, new hard wood flooring, leather furniture and a slate pool table. This is yet another room that overlooks the lake! There are a total of three TV’s at Towering Pines (located in the Great Room, Rec Room and Master Bedroom). The TV’s come with DirecTV Genie and over 130 recorded movies for you to enjoy!
The lakeside cobblestone patio is a great place to relax. Other unique features of Towering Pines include a fire pit and a private pier. The sandy frontage is 200 feet that gradually slopes into deeper water making it a perfect place to swim for all ages. There is even a private tennis court and basketball court along with a large grassy yard.
Things To Do
Take a ride on a canoe or kayak to enjoy some of the freshest water in the North Woods. There are plenty of places where you can rent canoes or kayaks in St. Germain. With thousands of acres of open water, the water-sport recreation is endless. Through Hiller Vacation Homes, you can rent an outboard motor, pontoon, kayaks and paddle boards.
We are one of the top rated fishing destination for anglers! Be prepared to reel in some musky, northern pike, perch, walleye, panfish and bass. The St. Germain Bike and Hike Trail is a family friendly paved trail that runs through St. Germain. It connects bicyclists, hikers and birdwatchers with 45 miles of Vilas County paved trails.
