Cabin # 6 is the original cabin around which Northern Exposure Resort was built. It is a two bedroom cabin, with a brand new bathroom and kitchen which are currently under construction. (Construction will be complete by April 15th). Each bedroom features a full size bed. There is also a full size sofa sleeper in the living room. It is attached to the main lodge and has a beautiful view of Lake Ojaski.
This cabin is part of a resort that relies on Mother Nature to do the entertaining and we offer amenities to help with that. We have a fish cleaning house, a playground, and limited groceries for the almost inevitable forgotten items. We also have live bait and are located on a 5 acre peninsula where you get views of the lake and inlet.
Considered to be the “City of Lakes”, The Chetek area is nothing short of activities for your fun filled vacation. Rent a boat and experience true fisherman’s delight in newly restocked lakes. These lakes contain Northern Pike, bluegills, perch and walleye. Catch a ski show put on by the Hydroflites or take water ski lessons. Go camping, biking, walking, fishing, hunting, or enjoy Rock Fest, Winter Fest, Music in the Park, bluegrass festivals, tractor pulls and brew fest.

I am so glad the owners overcame their life threatening illness (spring 2013). I applause the owners for a great job done, for a Ma & Pa operation I can hardly believe the work they do and the high quality emphasized. I would highly recommend Chetek, Wisconsin, if you want your up north fishing experience to be fantastic. We are a newly-retired couple who have been chasing fish all over Minnesota and Wisconsin, in the Boundary Waters, on big lakes, small lakes, and this is the best spot of them all. We're never going anywhere else. I am the wife of a fisherman who can't wait to go back as soon as we get home. Others fishermen go after the big blue gills and haul them in, too. My husband claims the fish-cleaning house is by far the best we've run into. The grounds are well kept, the campers friendly, and the half dozen or so cabins are new and modern. It is always quiet and peaceful, too. Not your typical run down place that caters just to the men. They are just wonderful accommodations, with nice decorating touches.
