This beautiful, delightful north-woods cottage retreat sits within 30 level feet of the shoreline of the Flambeau River. The Landscape, interior woodwork and decor is beautiful!!
You can Fish, kayak, canoe, tube or swim right from the doorstep.
The Cottage is 1700 Square feet, and it is fully equipped with all the modern amenities: Central air, Forced Air heating, dishwasher, full size washer and dryer ETC......

We supply all the beautiful handmade custom bedding and kitchen and bath towels with toilet paper, napkins and paper towels and cleaning supplies.
The open kitchen dining and living room area is ideal for gatherings of friends and family.
There is a bathroom and 3 full size bedrooms upstairs, one has a queen bed with a balcony deck that has steps leading to the river front, the second bedroom has a queen bed as well and the third bedroom has 2 twin log beds in it.
Then there is a separate living/bedroom area on the first floor that has two full size comfortable inner spring futons and a 48-inch TV.
We have been renting it out for the last 17 years and we take great pride of keeping everything clean, organized and updated.
The internet service is state of the art and works wonderful for phone reception and internet service.
We also have two Cable TVs, one is a smart TV so you can watch your "own" Netflix, Hulu or whatever you have.
There are several Bar/Grill Restaurants in the area and resorts with entertainment.
Shopping stores are about 20-25 minutes away in Ladysmith, Cornell or Bloomer.
We are about 25minutes from the famous Crystie Mountain Ski, Snowboard and Tubing Resort Thats in Bruce Wi.
We also do long term rentals October through May with a rate of $2400 per month and this includes Heat, Electricity, WFI , Cable and Garbage service.
We have hosted over the years several Temp Nurses, Doctors that worked at the area hospitals and temp workers working in the area.
Also have had people work from the cottage as our WFI is excellent.
We have 2 canoes and 4 kayaks and inner tubes for our renters to use .
The Beautiful Flambeau River is on average about 2 to 5 feet deep (depending on rain amounts).
The Flambeau connects to the Chippewa River one mile downstream than the Chippewa connects to lake Holcombe which is a 4000-acre lake.
It is not recommended to use motorboats in the area of the cottage because of the depth fluctuations.
and the hidden rocks just under the water that could damage your boat motors.
But there are several boat landings within a short distance to the cottage to land your boat on the Chippewa River, Lake Holcombe.
Or you can fish or boat on one of the 250 lakes, flowages or rivers in Rusk and Chippewa Countys.
There also is thousands of acres of public hunting land and miles of miles of ATV/ UTV trails in the area.
Most local roads allow you to drive your ATV's and UTV's on them.
We are licensed and inspected by Rusk County Health and Human Services,
all equipped with Smoke and Carbon Monoxide detectors, and we have passed all the bacteria and nitrogen water tests.
This scenic (lazy) river and surrounding areas offer something for everyone!
Relax on the bank of the Flambeau River as the Eagles soar overhead and the humming birds swarm overhead , and watch the deer and bears drink and bath in the river.
Wade in the rivers shoreline within 30 level feet of the cottage or go to one of the many beaches on Lake Holcombe (located within a short distance).
You will enjoy relaxing , and cooking out on the shore of the cottage with your friends and family watching nature at it's best.

For June to sept Our weekly rate is $1750 for 6 people , Each additional guest is $25 per night .

We do offer a monthly reduced rate for October through May for $2400 per month. This includes Heat, Electricity, WFI , Cable TV and garbage service.
We do require a $400 Security Deposit that is paid when you book, this is held in our business bank account.
This is Held for security and possible damage. It will be refunded back to you within 10 days of your check-out date as long as all the agreement terms are met and no damage or excessive cleaning required.
We have been renting our cottage for 17 years and we have given a full security deposit refund to all our wonderful guests.

Having never booked a vacation rental online , the apprehension was pretty high! Upon arrival however any misgivings melted away ! This is a little piece of heaven . My husband and I had plans to go site-seeing - but we ended up staying here the entire time . Thank you so much for paying attention to every detail for your guests to enjoy . The cabin is gorgeous !! Well worth the 10 hour drive to get here . The River is mesmerizing and the wild life abundant . We couldn't believe how quiet and peaceful it is here .
