This vacation chalet is a beautiful place to get away for a weekend or longer with your family or a few close friends. The cottage has a wood burning stove and a stone chimney. Especially in the cooler months, it feels so homey and relaxing to burn some wood and let the room fill with the sound of crackling wood and the smell of woodsmoke.
The vacation home includes a loft area that is set up for sleeping and is open into the rest of the house. It is accessible via a spiral staircase and may be the perfect spot for kids who want a little bit of novelty but not to be cut off from the rest of the house. There is also a kitchen table, along with a fully equipped kitchen. You can prepare all of your meals in the house if you choose to do so; we’re excited to hear what you come up with!
On the main floor, there is one bedroom with a queen bed and one bedroom with two singles. There is also a bathroom with a tub and shower. In the loft, there is a bedroom area with two queen-sized beds, as well as a bath with a shower.
Unique Features
Another great feature of this cabin is the TV that visitors have access to! If you are someone who enjoys having something on in the background while you are going about your day - or, if you just want to watch something interesting before bed - you should have all of your bases covered! We do everything we can to make your time away from your usual home as comfortable as possible.
Things To Do
Visitors to Eagle River should check out the cranberry festival that is a key component of any fall spent in Wisconsin; it is kid-friendly and offers a lot of opportunities to try new foods or purchase unique souvenirs that you can bring back home with you. During the summer - or, if you don’t mind a little bit of breeze in the cooler months - you have to take advantage of Bill Hassey’s Boat Tours to see the area from a new angle. Get out on the water in a boat without having to worry about renting or buying your own, and try to learn as much as you can while you are there!
Another great way to pass the time in Eagle River is to take the kids to one of many amusement-oriented rides or events. Here, you can go zip lining, play laser tag, and participate in so many other ways of making memories that everyone will look back at fondly for years to come.
For food, check out some of our favorite restaurants: We love Aiello’s on Wall Street, which has a great array of high quality sandwiches and salads, as well as some hot foods, as well. You could also go on a date to Bortolotti’s Cin Cin Wine Bar & Bistro for wine and cheese, and to discuss how the vacation is going so far!
