This spacious and homey vacation cabin offers the perfect opportunity for a family to get together and get away from life outside of the resort and Eagle River! Visitors will have access to the beautiful lake that offers opportunities for fishing, swimming, and boating, and then they can come inside to their home away from home to relax.
Knotty Pine is one of our oldest and most popular cabins for a reason. The home includes a wood-burning stove that you can set up in the winter months for a warm and cozy evening with the comforting scent of woodsmoke. There is also a screened-in front porch, so you can sit outside with a glass of wine on a warm evening without having to worry about all the bugs of summer! Visitors also have access to a fully equipped kitchen and a living area.
The vacation home sleeps up to six people, depending on how you want to organize sleeping arrangements. One bedroom contains a queen-sized bed; one contains a double bed. And, one contains two singles. There is also a bathroom with both a tub and a shower, so you won’t have to worry about truly “roughing it”, even if you end up spending a lot of time outside during this visit.
Unique Features
This vacation home is part of a resort that provides a sense of safety and security even while you are experiencing nature. Other homes are close enough that you don’t feel you are alone in the ‘wilderness’ while being spaced out enough that you still have relative privacy. The feeling is sort of like being in a somewhat spaced-out neighborhood. Many visitors enjoy this feeling and atmosphere!
Things To Do
Visitors to Eagle Creek have many options in terms of both outdoor recreation and indoor opportunities. You can go kayaking, fishing, or out on an ATV trail for a spring or summer adventure. There are even zip lining opportunities for some of our more adventurous visitors to partake in and make some memories.
If you choose to visit us in the winter months, you should also know that we’re known as the Snowmobile Capital of the World! We’re also the Hockey Capital of Wisconsin. Needless to say, you will be able to take your pick of outdoor winter sports; in addition to these, you can also go skiing, ice skating, and more! One especially unique experience in the winter months is the opportunity for visitors to see the ice castle that is built every January. Created by volunteers in the community, the castle has been built consistently since the 1920’s and is a longstanding tradition. Don’t miss this year’s architectural feat!
For food, visitors should stop at Lumpy’s Sports Bar and Grill after a day out and about. Pirate’s Hideaway LLC is another dining option that kids and adults alike should enjoy. We’re excited for you to come and visit us in Eagle River some time soon!
