Visitors to this beautiful vacation home will hopefully feel that they can truly relax and get away from it all with the feeling of being in a cottage from another world - or another time. With a stone chimney and wood burning stove, the place is reminiscent of a 19th century home, but it is still full of modern accommodations and luxuries.
Visitors have access to a fully equipped kitchen that includes a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and K-cup coffee maker. There are also pots, pans, and dishes and eating utensils, so you shouldn’t have to worry too much about bringing things from home in order to have a delicious breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Visitors also have a TV and comfortable living area in the home.
The vacation home sleeps two bedrooms on the main floor; one has a queen-sized bed, while the other has two singles. Upstairs, there is another bedroom with two queens. The cottage also has two full bathrooms. The bedrooms should have most of what you need such as linens, but don’t forget to bring your own towels for the bathroom! You can also buy anything you need or forget at one of the local stores.
Unique Features
This resort offers a variety of amenities for visitors to enjoy on site. These include a basketball and volleyball court, as well as two tennis courts. There is also playground equipment and a game room that are accessible through the resort. These are perfect for the kids or for a family bonding experience! You also have access to a nature trail for those early morning (or late evening) walks when you don’t want to leave the property.
Things To Do
Visitors to Eagle River have so much to look forward to, especially if they enjoy spending time outside. For those who enjoy learning new things, we really recommend the Eagle River Historical Society, where you can learn about the history of the surrounding area. Also in Eagle River is a children’s museum that provides great hands-on experiences for young kids. There’s also a toy store for kids who want to pick out their own souvenirs!
Needless to say, Eagle River offers so much in terms of outdoor recreation! With hiking and biking trails galore, you should have something for people of all ability levels to get out and appreciate the world around them. The area also offers an ATV/UTV trail system, if that is something that interests you and your group.
Finally, in the winter months, you can go skiing, snowshoeing, and more! Nothing beats the cold, pristine beauty of a winter in Wisconsin, so you will have a lot to do if you come during that time of year, as well. There is even an ice castle that, as part of a longstanding tradition, is built every January! Frozen fans and adult history enthusiasts alike will be interested to learn more about the castle when they come.
