This beautiful lakeside cabin is great for visitors looking to escape for the simple life. You can relax by the window in the squashy loveseat, knowing that you are surrounded by a cheerful community of vacation homes that don’t obscure the beauty of the natural world in which this resort is located.
When it’s time for a meal, make use of the fully equipped kitchen to prepare a meal. Whether you’re making three courses on the oven and stove, or heating up a snack in the microwave and making some coffee for an afternoon pick me up, you can rest assured that you won’t have to worry about spending the time and money on going out to eat.
Through the resort, visitors also have access to the lake, where they can go swimming, fishing, or boating. There is also a laundromat on site where you can pay with quarters to wash any clothes you brought with you; there’s no need to worry about packing extra, because you can just wash the ones you have.
Visitors have one bedroom with a queen-sized bed and one bedroom with two singles on the main floor. There is also one bath with a tub and shower.
A great additional feature of this cabin is that it is located almost directly on the lake itself, which makes enjoying the water a piece of cake! Don’t worry about transportation to the water or even waiting for a loved one to get ready before you head out. For the duration of your visit, Sand Lake is basically your backyard!
Eagle River is also a great place for hiking and biking, with trails galore. With so many options, you can cater to your newest or youngest hikers, or, if your party is up for it, you can spend a challenging and strenuous day out and about.
Visitors to Eagle River, Wisconsin will find that there are also an abundance of fishing opportunities. Rather than go out to eat some nights, you might want to catch a bite and then bake it, fry it, or saute it in the guest house. At least in this sense, you can truly live off the land while you are here! Some of the different varieties of fish include walleye, bass, musky, and panfish. Late summer and early fall are perhaps the perfect times to go fishing while in Eagle River, so make sure your license is updated and you bring all your gear with you.
