Step back in time and immerse yourself in a part of Hayward's history conveniently located on the south shore of Little Round Lake. Eagle's Landing was originally constructed in 1922 as part of a family estate when tourists traveled to Hayward by train. The family owned the Chicago based Kobzy Tool Co and were prominent members of the Masonic Order. These private vintage lake cabins are nestled in mature pines perched above the lake. Enjoy a summer evening paddling one of the two kayaks along the shoreline or head out for some great walleye and Musky fishing on Round Lake. Watch the kids play while relaxing by the lakeside fire pit or take a short boat ride to two of the areas most popular lakeside bar and grills; Fish Tales and Prop's Landing. Private elevated setting with mature pines and plenty of space for yard games and a tent for the kids. Centrally located in the Hayward Area so that all of the areas recreational opportunities are in easy reach.
There are hundreds of miles of gravel forest roads in the area offering awesome views of forests, lakes, streams and bogs. Take the family to view fall colors or for a peaceful and relaxing bike ride. Enjoy the many paved country roads for road cycling or hit the 300 miles of CAMBA trails available for mountain biking, hiking, trail running, and snowshoeing.
The Hayward area also offers world class cross country skiing on the American Birkebeiner, Hatchery Creek, North End and Telemark trails. This area is also very popular for snowmobile and ATV riding on the huge trail network criss-crossing the area.
There are thousands of acres of wild Northwood forest in this area containing ample game for hunting including whitetail deer, ruffled grouse, bear and snowshoe rabbits. Nearly 70% of the land in this area is open to the public.
The Hayward area also has a large selection of restaurants and taverns to fuel your adventures and quench your thirst. Many of the area taverns feature local musicians in a casual and family friendly atmosphere.
Many nearby lakes including Chippewa Flowage, Grindstone, Round and Lac Courte Oreilles are excellent for water sports, boating, sailing and fishing. Public beaches are located at Lake Hayward, Round Lake, Smith Lake, Moose Lake and Day Lake.
Also visit tourist attractions like Lumberjack Village, Weber's Wilderness Walk or the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame.
The Namekagon River which is a headwater to the St Croix provides excellent paddling, tubing, camping and fishing opportunities. The West and East Forks of the Chippewa River have some of the best fishing Northern Wisconsin has to offer.
Wildlife viewing opportunities include whitetail deer, bald eagles, black bear, timber wolves, elk, otters, loons and beavers.

No Off Season Rentals (October-May)
During peak season (Memorial Day through Labor Day), Eagle's Landing rents on a weekly-only basis. Weekly rentals run Saturday to Saturday.
Sales tax of 9.5 percent will be added to all rental rates, along with a $79.13 booking fee (includes tax).
A $100 cleaning fee to be added to all rentals.
A refundable damage deposit of half the rent is required on the day of arrival.
