White Bear Lodge is a cozy ranch-style waterfront cottage with a private boat dock on scenic Round Lake. This Northwoods vacation home is set between the trees on a quiet lot with a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding wilderness. Decorated in an eclectic and homey style, White Bear Lodge has comfortable living spaces and large bedrooms, close to downtown Hayward, Wisconsin.
The main floor at White Bear Lodge houses a great room with a connecting living room, dining room and kitchen. The living room is outfitted with a stone-surround fireplace and a large flat-screen TV. The family-style dining table has room for all eight guests to eat together. The kitchen is fully furnished with dishes, cookware, modern appliances and a breakfast counter with stools for three.
Three private bedrooms at the cabin are furnished with a queen-sized bed in each and one additional futon sleeper sofa. Two full bathrooms are each equipped with a combination tub and shower.
White Bear Lodge has a lovely outdoor living space with a grassy level lawn, neat stepping stones and a fire pit. There is a brick patio that’s great for outdoor dining, a patio table and chairs, and both a gas and a charcoal grill. There is a gentle slope to our 32-foot boat dock on Round Lake and 100 feet of private shoreline. The rocky/sandy lake bottom is good for swimming. We also provide lawn chairs, a canoe, and two kayaks.
From your private dock at White Bear Lodge, you can drop a line in 3,294-acre, all-sports Round Lake! There are musky, panfish, large and smallmouth bass, walleye and northern pike.
This Northwoods cabin rental is also conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from Hayward’s quaint downtown area. Here you can find boat and equipment rentals, canoeing and kayaking trips, snowmobile and ATV trailheads, and a collection of local shops and restaurants.
Visit the Hayward area for access to multiple lakes and rivers, tons of excellent fishing year-round, scenic hiking, bike trails and waterways, and an all-around unique experience.
