LakeView Terrace offers an ideal family vacation getaway on the scenic shore of Castle Rock Lake. Enjoy the fresh air and the view from the balcony as you sip your morning coffee, then take a casual stroll to the home’s private pier. Launch your boat and leave it tied during your stay, and enjoy the soft, sandy bottom where the water is shallow and great for swimming. This home also offers spectacular sunsets over the lake and great fishing.
LakeView Terrace is quiet and serene, set on a private lot overlooking the lake. The home is designed with an open, sociable floor plan that allows friends and family to mix and mingle over shared meals, movie nights, and stargazing on the walk-out patio. The home has a full modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dining table and a breakfast bar, as well as a furnished terrace with an outdoor table, lounge chairs and a fire pit. The lower level includes a rec room den with a bar area, an air hockey table and a walk-out ground-level patio.
This large-group vacation cabin can accommodate 11 overnight guests with four bedrooms and three full baths. The master suite has a stunning private lakeside view, and sleeping accommodations for the whole group come in the form of four queen-size beds, one twin bed and one convertible full-size futon.
LakeView Terrace is a cozy home for 11 on its own, but can be rented in conjunction with our neighboring property — Pine Ridge Shores — to accommodate large parties of up to 23. We provide bed linens and kitchen utensils, but guests will need to remember to bring personal items such as bath linens, beach towels, toiletries and bath tissue. This home also has a cozy hammock that makes for a perfect afternoon reading by the lake’s edge.
LakeView Terrace enjoys a brick-terraced property overlooking the 13,600-acre, all-sport Castle Rock Lake. This cabin is conveniently located to public boat launches and public beaches, as well as hiking and biking trails, boat rentals and golf courses.
Some favorite local attractions include the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge, the Elroy Bike Trail, and the Northern Bay Golf Course — with seven scale replicas of world-famous championship golf holes. There are also access points nearby for ATV and snowmobile trails.
You could also plan a day during your trip to drive to Spring Green and tour the House on the Rock and the Frank Lloyd Wright Center, canoe the Wisconsin River, or visit the many varied attractions of the Wisconsin Dells. Check the Friendship chamber site for local country festivals and other events.
