Wisconsin River Retreat offers your family or group a gorgeous retreat in central WI … with a grand total of 5 bedrooms (all with queen-size beds) and 4.5 baths. The main level has the great room with its numerous high windows overlooking the water, and the open-concept dining room and kitchen with island counter and seating. From the dining room, walk out to the covered porch dining area. Also on this ground level is the lovely master bedroom with its own private bath (separate shower and jet tub). Another full bath, full laundry room and half-bath completes this main living area. On the upper level is another large entertaining area with 2nd TV and futon. There are 2 bedrooms and another full bath. In the lower level are 2 more bedrooms and 1 full bath — and a pool table to challenge your family in the entertainment area which also offers an additional futon for extra sleeping.
The riverfront boasts your own private 36’ pier with stairs leading down to the water. Launch your boats just on the other side (approx 10-minute drive), and keep your boats docked during your entire stay. Within 10 minutes to pontoon boat rental. Or use the two kayaks provided for your peaceful enjoyment of the river. Sand bars provide excellent swimming opportunities, as well as a public beach just down the road. Plenty of driveway for parking cars and boat trailers.
If golfing is your sport, just 10 minutes from 2 championship courses at Lake Arrowhead, or the new world-renowned Sand Valley Golf Course. Also check out the Wisconsin State Trap Shooting Home Grounds with Olympic designation hosting many competitions. Close to ATV/ snowmobile trails, the Nekoosa Ho-Chunk Casino, Wisconsin Rapids shopping, and within an hour’s drive to all the Wisconsin Dells attractions!
