Hello again Marilyn, I just wanted you to know that my kids have been talking about our stay ever since we left. We had such a great time being there. They are asking me all the time if we are going to stay at The Jefferson Cabin again this year. They LOVED it! I hope we can make it work. That was definitely a lifelong memory that we created at Jefferson's Landing.
We arrived less than 6 hours ago and we're in love with this quaint old school updated cabin on South Twin Lake in Vilas County. Marilyn came to greet us few hours after we arrived and told us the story of her father who built this cabin and another on this land. It's from the 1950's and is very comfortable and updated. The view of South Twin Lake is absolutely peaceful. There is an entry way similar to today's mud rooms and another separate entry with a gliding French door screen door leading out to the roomy deck with really nice patio furniture. There is ample room to park a couple vehicles and a boat trailer. The kitchen is small but mighty with a gas stove and huge updated sink and faucet. The fridge is full size and sparkling clean. All bedroom windows have nice mini blinds and curtains to keep the early morning sun from shining in of you're a person who likes to sleep in (like me). There is a nice size dining table for dinner or playing games. The dock is wonderful and our dog loves doing her dives from it. If you're considering a vacation here, do it. You won't regret it!
