Welcome to my tranquil lakefront cabin tucked away on a quiet chain of lakes in Wisconsin's Northwoods. This recently remodeled getaway offers two comfortable bedrooms, one full bath and a small office so you can work remotely while enjoying the serenity of the water. With cedar-plank walls and an inviting open layout, it feels like your own private lodge in the woods.
I’ve outfitted the cabin with modern conveniences to make your long‑term stay seamless. You’ll appreciate the fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances—refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher and more—plus a 50‑gallon hot water heater and washer/dryer. The stone gas fireplace and wall furnace keep the space warm and cozy when evenings turn crisp, and the living room is the perfect place to unwind with a good book or watch a movie.
Step outside to the expansive lakeside deck where morning coffee comes with a view of mirror‑calm water and towering pines. There’s a one‑car garage for your vehicle or gear and plenty of space to relax at the end of our dead‑end road. This cabin is perfect for couples, small families or digital nomads looking for peace, privacy and direct access to the water.
The cabin’s fresh cedar walls lend a wonderful scent throughout the home, and the recent remodel included new windows, curtains, flooring and a beautifully updated bathroom. I added a stone gas fireplace to complement the wall furnace and baseboard heaters, so you’ll stay warm even on the chilliest winter nights.
Another unique feature is the dedicated office space, which lets you focus on work or creative pursuits while staying lakeside. Attached to the house is a single‑car garage, making it easy to store bikes, kayaks or snowmobiles. Because we’re located on a chain of lakes at the end of a dead‑end road, you’ll experience incredible privacy and zero through traffic.
You don’t have to leave the property to start enjoying yourself. Launch a kayak or canoe from the shore to explore the connected lakes, cast a line for bass or panfish, or simply watch for loons and eagles from the deck. In the evening you can grill up your catch and gather around a campfire for s’mores and stargazing.
The surrounding Northwoods offers endless outdoor adventure. In summer, nearby hiking and biking trails wind through the Northern Highland–American Legion State Forest; winter brings opportunities for cross‑country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling along groomed trails. The clear lakes are also perfect for swimming and paddling.
When you’re ready to explore towns, you’re just a short drive from Eagle River, Rhinelander, Minocqua and Tomahawk—each offering unique shops, restaurants, breweries and seasonal festivals. Visit local supper clubs, catch a water‑ski show, play a round of golf or take a scenic drive through the Northwoods. With so many attractions nearby, you’ll never run out of things to do.
Day trips could include a visit to Vilas County trails, the Wildwood Wildlife Park in Minocqua, or a swing through the famed snowmobile hall of fame in St. Germain. Whether you seek adventure or pure relaxation, this cabin places you within easy reach of it all.

Hi! I’m Elaine, and together with my husband Joe we have been sharing comfortable Northwoods rentals for nearly 30 years. We started managing properties in the Sugar Camp area while raising our two sons and have enjoyed meeting guests from all over the world. Now that we’re both retired, we devote extra time to maintaining our lakefront cabin and ensuring it’s spotless and welcoming for each visitor. We love the peace of this chain of lakes and are always happy to offer recommendations for local restaurants, hikes or scenic drives.
