Our Cedar Cabin is a short distance to 900 acre fishing and recreational Lake Arbutus and sand beach! Enjoy easy lake access without the higher on-water rental rate. Your getaway will still include Russell Park sandy beaches, swimming, boating, water skiing, fishing, and exploring. Pack a picnic and enjoy the pavilion facilities and play area.
Guests of all ages will love the beautiful, accessible large deck at the cabin that is equipped with patio furniture. It’s a quiet, warm and wonderful place to soak in the great outdoors, or read a book.
Inside is open & airy floor plan, and the extras are plenty: Full kitchen has 2 burner stove-top, refrigerator & freezer, microwave, coffee maker, pizza maker, pots, pans and many other kitchen utensils
Sleeping arrangement: The master bedroom features a queen-sized bed. The living room has a sofa sleeper. Large bathroom with wheel-in shower.
Cedar Cabin is one of two cabins we have for rent on 5 acres. If your family vacation grows into a family and friends getaway, we have room at our Pine Cabin too. Up to 11 people can spread out between both cabins. What’s even more impressive is the 130,000 acres of public land adjacent to our property. Direct access to ATV/UTV and snowmobiling trails from cabins.Go hiking, biking, hunting, cross country skiing from your front door.
Choose your favorite season and get outside: Changing colors of the oak, maple, birch and aspen trees are a fall treat. In winter there’s always plenty of snow to build a snowman - Ice Fishing at nearby Lake Arbutus is great. During the summer months our Hatfield cabin guests enjoy the lakes and rivers.
Begin each day with a hot cup of coffee relaxing inside, looking out the large windows facing the woods. Now get out there and enjoy spending time in the yard. Plan on an evening bon fire, grilling outside and eating outside on the picnic table.
We offer plenty of parking for boats, trailers and vehicles so bring your outdoor toys! Our Cedar Cabin is not located next to residential cabins, so privacy is guaranteed while at this Hatfield cottage in the woods. Since you plan and book with us (Donna and Jim), we can give your group some tips from Lake Arbutus pontoon boat rentals to where the best white water kayaking is.
Area towns and villages like Black River Falls, Neillsville, Merrillan, Alma Center each offer something unique: Museums, antique stores, gift shops, one-of-a-kind shops, fine dining options, and challenging golf courses. The weekend flea markets are popular too.
