Chain Lake Retreat is a three-bedroom, one-bath home on Chain Lake, part of the Sugar Camp Chain of five connected lakes in northern Wisconsin. This private getaway sleeps six to ten guests and boasts incredible lake frontage with a sandy bottom that’s perfect for swimming and shallow wading.
Designed with an open layout, the home’s expansive windows frame panoramic lake views while filling the living spaces with natural light. A contemporary kitchen comes fully stocked with dishes, utensils and modern appliances, and a large dining table plus island seating provides plenty of room for shared meals. The comfortable living room features ample seating, a TV/DVD player and a cozy pellet-burning stove for cooler evenings.
Step outside to discover a spacious patio, beautifully landscaped yard and private dock. Two kayaks, a rowboat and a canoe are provided so you can easily explore the chain of lakes, while the patio offers the perfect spot for morning coffee or a summer barbecue. With two queen beds, two twin beds and linens provided, Chain Lake Retreat blends scenic seclusion with modern convenience.

THINGS TO DO
Start your day paddling across Chain Lake or exploring the entire Sugar Camp Chain by canoe, kayak or rowboat. Anglers will appreciate excellent fishing for musky, northern pike, bass and panfish, while swimmers can enjoy the sandy shoreline and clear water.
Away from the lake, miles of trails wind through the surrounding forests for hiking and biking in summer and transform into cross‑country ski and snowmobile routes during winter months. Watch for deer, eagles and other wildlife, and soak in the vibrant colors of spring wildflowers and autumn leaves.
For dining, shopping and entertainment, venture into nearby Eagle River, St. Germain or Minocqua to browse local shops, sample Wisconsin supper clubs, attend seasonal festivals or tee off at area golf courses. Chain Lake Retreat offers easy access to water recreation and the best of the Northwoods.
