Thunder Bay Resort Cabin 15 is a spacious four‑bedroom, two‑bath cabin on Lac Vieux Desert in Phelps, Wisconsin. With two queen beds, six twin beds and a sofa sleeper, it sleeps up to twelve guests. The fully equipped kitchen features a microwave, Mr. Coffee machine, cookware and utensils. Bed linens and starter supplies like toilet paper, garbage bags and coffee filters are provided; a fireplace and air conditioning keep you comfortable year round. Outside you’ll find a Weber grill and picnic table for cookouts — please bring towels, soap, lawn chairs and your own charcoal and lighter fluid. The cabin also offers a flat‑screen TV, free Wi‑Fi, a complimentary canoe for exploring the lake, and cribs and high chairs at no extra charge. Enjoy Lac Vieux Desert right outside your door — spend your days swimming, fishing for walleye, muskies and northern pike, or paddling a complimentary canoe or rented pontoon boat. Build sandcastles on the resort’s sandy beach, roast s’mores around the shared fire pit or simply relax on the shore while the kids play. When you’re ready for adventure, explore the miles of ATV and UTV trails that wind through the Nicolet National Forest and the Phelps area. More than 30 miles of scenic paths are available for hiking and biking, and during winter the routes become groomed snowmobile and cross‑country ski trails so you can experience the Northwoods in every season. Nearly three‑quarters of the Phelps area is national or state forest land, so wildlife sightings and quiet moments in nature are guaranteed. A short drive takes you to Phelps, Eagle River, Conover or Land O’ Lakes where you can browse local shops, dine at restaurants and taverns, and take part in community festivals from classic car shows to snowmobile derbies. No matter when you visit, there’s always something fun to see or do.
