Our Black Bear cabin at Whispering Pines Lodge is one of 2 cabins. If you have a large group, you can split up and still vacation on the same resort grounds. Black Bear cabin is just across Parkway Road from White Potato Lake. Get ready for some fun boating and fishing. Welcome to the best whitewater rafting in the midwest!
Inside the cabin is a well-stocked kitchen; comfortable a great-room area and a quaint dining area. Since you book directly with us (Alan and Edith) we can make sure you have everything you need at the cabin.
Sleeping arrangement: A bedroom with queen bed; and a loft with full size bed; full size futon in the living room (bathroom has a shower).
Near Crivitz, Wisconsin sits our newly built rustic, frontier-style cabin. In Oconto County and bordering Marinette County. Nearby cross country ski trails keep you outside! Park you snowmobile right at the cabin - no need to trailer the sleds.
Unique activities are endless: Ask us about area public parks and beaches, quality golf courses, white tail deer -bear -wild turkey -grouse hunting.
Besides relaxing and enjoying the beautiful accommodations in the peaceful seclusion of Wisconsin's north woods, there are some area things to do. Point your adventure compass to a multitude of recreational opportunities. Get wet (at the Roaring Rapids section of the Peshtigo River), or keep your feet dry and hike the Nicolet National Forest. There are 100 miles of ATV trails. Like to bike? 98 miles of biking trails too.
Black Bear cabin is close to the and the Peshtigo River State Forest and 341 miles of trout streams. A short drive gets you to High Falls & Caldron Falls Flowages. In fact, you’ll want to take the Waterfall Tour.
