Welcome to our spacious lakefront retreat on the shores of Shawano Lake — a place designed for families and friends to reconnect. This two-level home sleeps up to thirteen guests comfortably and is pet-friendly, so you don't have to leave your furry companions behind. Inside you'll find an open-concept living and dining area anchored by an electric fireplace and Smart TV, with large windows framing beautiful water views. The full kitchen is stocked with cookware, bakeware and utensils so you can prepare meals just like at home, and the adjacent coffee bar offers both drip and Keurig options with starter supplies of coffee, tea and sweeteners.
Five thoughtfully furnished bedrooms are spread across the main and second levels. The main-level primary suite features a king bed with a memory foam mattress, a closet and an attached full bath with a walk‑in shower. Down the hall is a cozy bunk room with twin bunks for younger guests. Upstairs you’ll find two queen bedrooms and two more bunk rooms, each outfitted with new mattresses, white noise machines, extra blankets and storage space. A second full bath upstairs includes dual sinks and a tub/shower combo, and a convenient half bath is located off the living area. A washer and dryer with detergent and dryer balls are provided on the main level.
When it’s time to head outside, the lake is just steps from your door. A private dock and shallow entry make it easy for kids to splash and play, while complimentary kayaks, paddleboards and a lily pad mat add extra fun on the water. Spend evenings gathered around the fire pit or grilling dinner on the gas grill and dining alfresco on the deck. The quiet neighborhood and spacious yard provide plenty of room to relax, and there is parking for several vehicles in the driveway. Whether you spend your days on the water or curled up by the fire with a good book, this lakefront haven is a place to make lasting memories.
This Shawano Lake home stands out because of the extras included with your stay. Guests have access to kayaks, paddleboards and a floating lily pad, as well as adult and child life vests, so you can explore the lake without the hassle of renting equipment. Indoors, the fully equipped kitchen is complemented by a dedicated coffee and tea bar with both a 12‑cup brewer and Keurig machine. The living room’s electric fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere year‑round, and a Smart TV in guest mode allows you to log in to your favorite streaming services.
We’ve tried to think of everything you might need for a comfortable getaway. You’ll find memory foam mattresses in every bedroom, white noise machines and night‑lights, plenty of extra blankets and pillows, and beach towels. Families will appreciate the Pack ’n Play, board games and children’s dinnerware. The home also features contactless, keyless entry and a large driveway that can accommodate up to eight vehicles. Pets are welcome for a nominal fee, and we ask that you respect our quiet lakeside neighborhood during your stay.
Shawano Lake is a playground for water lovers. Launch one of the provided kayaks or paddleboards from the private dock and paddle along the shoreline, or cast a line for walleye, bass or panfish right from the pier. The lake’s shallow, sandy bottom is perfect for swimming, and the large lily pad mat lets kids and adults lounge on the water. If you bring or rent a boat, take advantage of the public boat ramps and explore the 6,200‑acre lake.
Beyond the lake, the area is full of outdoor adventures. The Wolf River is nearby and offers whitewater rafting, tubing and scenic paddling trips. Hikers and bikers can explore miles of trails along the Mountain‑Bay State Trail and the nearby Shawano Lake Path. In winter, the region transforms into a snowmobiler’s paradise with groomed trails, and there are opportunities for cross‑country skiing and ice fishing on the frozen lake.
When you’re ready for a change of pace, venture into the city of Shawano to browse local shops and boutiques or sample regional favorites at supper clubs and cafes. Don’t miss the Twigs Beverage Museum, where you can learn the history of Wisconsin’s famous Sun Drop soda, or take in a race at the Shawano Speedway. Seasonal festivals, farmers markets and the Shawano County Fair provide plenty of family‑friendly entertainment, and several nearby museums celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Menominee Nation and Mohican people. Green Bay and its attractions, including NFL history tours, are just over an hour away for an easy day trip.
