This is our largest cabin and it shows – from the generous all‑season porch to the private dock and fire pit, there’s room for everyone to kick back and breathe in the Northwoods air. Unlike a cookie‑cutter hotel room, this home away from home is open for rent year‑round, providing comfort for family gatherings, fishing buddies or a group of friends looking to unplug and reconnect.
Step through the door and you’ll find warm knotty‑pine walls, a roomy living area and a fully equipped kitchen ready for home‑cooked meals. Three private bedrooms anchor the cabin: one with a king bed, another with a queen, full and twin, and a third with its own queen. Two baths (one with a tub) make morning routines easy. The attached porch adds sleeping space with two twin beds and a queen sofa sleeper, bringing the total sleeping capacity to fit your crew. Beds freshly made. Towels provided in off season, Labor Day thru Memorial Day. Free Wi‑Fi and cable TV mean you can stream a movie after a day on the lake, but the views outside may steal the show.

Sip your coffee while watching sunrise over the water, spend lazy afternoons casting a line from the row boat, and toast marshmallows around the campfire under a blanket of stars. What makes Little Boy Blue stand out is its size and versatility. This is the largest rental at Pine Cone Ranch, designed for big groups who don’t want to feel crowded. The layout offers seven beds plus a queen sleeper sofa spread across three bedrooms and an enclosed porch. With two bathrooms and a large gathering space, everyone has room to unwind without stepping on each other’s toes.
Outdoors, the cabin boasts its own private dock on Crystal Lake, a row boat waiting for your next fishing adventure, and a large all‑season porch where you can watch the weather roll over the lake in comfort. A fire pit, charcoal grill and picnic tables invite outdoor meals and stories by the fire. And because we’re open year‑round, you can enjoy snowmobiling or ice fishing in winter just as easily as a summer swim. This isn’t just a place to sleep – it’s an experience.

Right outside your door you can fish, swim, paddle or simply float the day away on beautiful Crystal Lake. We supply a row boat for leisurely cruising and there’s plenty of space to dock your own watercraft or paddle around in the resort canoe or peddle boats. Try your luck at catching Bass, Pike, Crappie, Bluegill or Perch, then clean your catch in our fish cleaning house and grill it for dinner. Birdwatchers will love seeing eagles, following our resident loon family and everyone will appreciate evenings gathered around the fire pit, swapping stories and roasting s’mores. Or hit the volley ball net or shuffleboard court for some fun family competition.
On land, the Northwoods offers endless recreation. Visit the Tyler Kahle Memorial Field to take in some local baseball games or hit the batting cage. Hike or bike nearby trails like the Bearskin State Trail or Hiawatha Trail, or simply wander our wooded resort property looking for deer and other wildlife. In winter, snowmobile right from the cabin onto groomed trails, strap on skis or snowshoes, and return to the warmth of the all‑season porch. Autumn brings vibrant foliage and crisp mornings – perfect for grouse or duck hunting or just snapping photos.

When you’re ready to explore, the town of Tomahawk is just a short drive away with restaurants, shopping and the famous Harley‑Davidson Fall Ride.
