Perched along the shores of Crystal Lake, Holiday House is a timeless Northwoods retreat where the sound of lapping waves mingles with birdsong. The cottage is a roomy three-bedroom home with knotty-pine accents, picture windows, and a breezy lakefront deck. Inside you’ll find modern comforts – from high-speed Wi-Fi and cable TV to a fully equipped kitchen – but the real charm comes from evenings gathered at lakeside watching the sun dip behind the pines.

The open-concept living area features a spacious island kitchen with stainless appliances and plenty of counter space for preparing family meals or mixing up happy-hour snacks. Cozy up on the sofa for a movie night, or pull out the queen sleeper for extra overnight space. A king-bed suite takes center stage, while a second bedroom offers two queen beds and a third bedroom provides a single queen. Two full bathrooms – one with a tub/shower combo and one with a walk-in shower – ensure everyone has room to get ready for the day’s adventures.

With a private dock right out front you’re never far from the water. Spend your days fishing, paddling the complimentary rowboat or paddle boat, or simply soaking up the sun on the lakeside deck. Paddle boards, kayaks, motors or pontoon boat available for rent. When the snow flies, the cabin transforms into a cozy winter haven with direct access to groomed snowmobile and cross-country ski trails. Whether you’re planning a summer escape or a winter snowmobile run, Holiday House is ready year-round to be your home away from home.

Holiday House stands apart with its enviable lakefront location and private dock. Launch a kayak at sunrise, tie up the pontoon for afternoon cruises, or drop a line right off the dock and see what bites. The resort provides guests with a complimentary rowboat. We have a private boat launch if you have your own boat, and there’s even plenty of space to park your trailers if you bring your own watercraft or snowmobile.

Inside, you’ll appreciate the blend of rustic cabin charm and modern convenience. The renovated kitchen sports a large island perfect for socializing, while the living room’s rustic maple walls and Northwoods décor create a classic lodge feel. heat keep the home comfortable in every season. Bed linens are provided – just bring your bath towels in peak summer months. For a touch of romance, ask about the optional satin sheets package for a special weekend getaway. Towels provided from Labor Day through Memorial Day.

Things To Do

Being lakefront means water fun is always on the agenda. Swim out to our private raft or float in the clear waters of Crystal Lake, paddle around in the provided rowboat, or rent a motor, kayak, paddle board or pontoon. Cast right from your dock for panfish, small & large-mouth bass and northern pike. In the evening, roast marshmallows at your fire pit and watch for shooting stars over the glass-calm lake. Firewood provided.

The resort’s grounds include grills, picnic tables and playground equipment, making it easy to enjoy outdoor meals or let the kids burn off energy. Tomahawk’s famed snowmobile and cross-country ski trails & the Hiawatha bike trail are all nearby. Winter guests can ride directly from the door. Snowmobile rentals are offered in the area if you don’t have your own.

For day trips, explore the charming nearby downtowns of Tomahawk, Rhinelander or Minocqua for shopping and supper clubs, or visit the Wildwood Wildlife Park & Nature Center in Minocqua. The area offers hiking and biking trails, plus great golfing at nearby courses. In autumn the region comes alive with fall color drives, and in spring you can watch loons return to the lake.
