Elkhorn Lodge by The Cottage Keeper is a relaxing, three-story getaway located right at the edge of scenic McGinnis Lake. With three bedrooms and two and a half baths, Elkhorn Lodge offers comfortable accommodations for up to eight guests on a private, waterfront lot surrounded by tall trees.
The front door opens to an open floor plan on the main floor, complete with a full modern kitchen, a family style dining area with a table and chairs for six, and a cozy sitting room with leather sofas and an armchair gathered around a stone hearth. Vaulted ceilings and a full wall of windows on the lake-facing side connect the living spaces to nature and fill the rooms with natural light.
On the upper level, a furnished loft overlooking the sitting room features a reading nook and a home office with a small desk. The lower level walks out to the grassy lawn via sliding glass doors, and has additional indoor recreation space with foosball, a card table, and a set of armchairs.
Sleeping arrangements: Three private bedrooms at Elkhorn Lodge are spread out over the three stories. There is a guest room with a queen-sized bed on each level.
Spend a golden afternoon at this Wisconsin Dells area cabin rental soaking up the sun in the private yard, and make the most of the home’s waterfront location with the provided canoe, kayak and rowboat. We also highly recommend watching the sunset on the water as you cook out with the family around the firepit.
Bonus: this home has wireless internet and two smart TV's for streaming your favorite movies and shows.
Elkhorn Lodge is settled on a private lot on McGinnis Lake, just 30 minutes north of the Wisconsin Dells! The lake covers 27 acres and is great for fishing, with common catches including panfish or largemouth bass. Please note: there are no motors allowed on the lake, but feel free to explore the scenic shoreline in our kayak and canoe or head out for the day’s catch in our rowboat!
You’ll love the small-town charm of Adams County and the cabin’s surrounding villages. Take a tour of the local scenery and stop for shopping and dining in Oxford — the perfect place to pick up groceries, fishing bait, and other vacation necessities.
