Gooseneck Landing is a four-bedroom, central Wisconsin getaway with relaxed vacation vibes on Castle Rock Lake. This 12-person rental cabin is situated on a peaceful inlet with a private level lawn, a boat dock, and a fire pit right at the water’s edge — perfect for yard games, cookouts or lazy afternoons listening to the waves and soaking up the sun.
Take a much-needed rest from daily life with the whole family at a secluded, waterfront cabin home. Gooseneck Landing caters to large groups with three full baths, two large living areas, and a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The cottage makes the most of its remote and scenic spot on the water with an open air deck on the lake-facing side and a four-season porch on the lower level overlooking the lake — so you can enjoy the views in any weather.
The main level at Gooseneck Landing features and open floor plan with the kitchen, a breakfast nook and the cozy great room. The master suite is located on the main floor, as are two more bedrooms and the second bath. The final bedroom and bath are located on the lower level, along with a rec room that houses a large, flat-screen TV, a snack fridge and a wet bar.
Sleeping arrangements: Gooseneck Landing has one king-size bed, one queen-size bed, two sets of bunks — one with a twin lofted over a full, and one with a twin lofted over a queen — and a queen-size sofa sleeper.

Gooseneck Landing is uniquely suited to large groups and long stays, with multiple, varied living and social spaces and large bedrooms with clothes storage — perfect for unpacking and settling in for a week-long getaway. Gooseneck Landing is also a neighbor to another of our rental properties: Gooseneck Point. These homes on Castle Rock Lake can be rented separately or together to accommodate a total of 18 overnight guests. Renting both homes also increases the measure of your private shoreline to 244 feet, with two docks.

Gooseneck Landing is conveniently located to some beautiful community recreation areas, including a lakeside county park with a sand beach and a playground, and a marina with a refueling station, a convenience store and several waterfront restaurants.
The area around Friendship is full of unique local attractions, fun annual events, fine dining and entertainment. Your cabin is close to a few state and county parks with trails for hiking and cross-country skiing, as well as places to try canoeing, horseback riding and more.
Some favorite local attractions include the Necedah Wildlife Refuge, the Sparta-Elroy Bicycle Trail, and the Frank Lloyd Wright House on the Rock museum. This home is also just 30 minutes away from hundreds of restaurants and attractions — and an outlet mall — in the Wisconsin Dells.

Our homes are located on Castle Rock Lake and Petenwell Lake (the 2nd & 4th largest inland lakes in WI), near Lake Arrowhead, and on the WI River. Only 30-45 minutes north of the Wisconsin Dells Waterpark Capital of the World with accommodations up to 16 people.
