Located near Petenwell Lake, Castle Rock Lake, and the Wisconsin and Yellow Rivers. Flanked by majestic rock formations and natural bluffs. This area contains some of the best inland fishing in the Midwest. Necedah is well-known for its annual Whooping Crane Festival, which brings people from all over the world. The National Wildlife 43,656-acre Refuge was established in 1939 as a refuge and breeding ground for migratory birds and other wildlife. Species and habitat are monitored and maintained to insure a robust ecosystem.

No vacation is complete without lots of water to fish and splash in. Nearby Castle Rock Lake is Wisconsins fourth largest freshwater lake and is home to a wide variety of fish, including bluegill, lake sturgeon, largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, and walleye.
